All projects hold a special place in my heart, but a few show exactly the kind of work I love to do and how I do it.
Hickory, NC-based furniture manufacturing startup Design Foundry needed a brand to reflect both the quality of their products and their commitment to the community. So I started with a few key questions and designed their full brand from there.
In the two years that I worked full-time for Lenoir-Rhyne, I helped create pieces, both print and digital, that would appeal to prospective & current students, faculty, alumni, and community members. It turns out the potential ways to use red & black are limitless.
Young adult Book websites
While at Mess, I spent many hours working my way through the freshest young adult novels for work. It was truly a dream scenario, and I was able to combine my loves of YA Lit, community building, and digital design.
Henry River Preservation Fund Events
I’ve served on the board for the Henry River Preservation Fund (aka District 12 from the Hunger Games) for a few years, and was lucky enough to get to brand their two annual events: Mill Vill Fest and Boos & Brews.
